Dynamical mass generation

WebSpontaneous mass generation is discussed. General arguments are given for the case of two zeros of β, implying no mass generation between the zeros. This is used to question the 1 N expansion in a four-fermion two-dimensional model. General comments regarding dynamical mass and effective potential are also included. Received 23 September 1974
