WebI am backing up a 30TB file server with Veeam to a ISCSI target attached directly to the Veeam server. The target storage device is a QNAP TS-1673URP with 16 8TB disks in RAID6. I am utilizing 10GbE networking. I'm also using forward forever incremental with 14 restore points. When Veeam does a health check on this backup, it takes a long time. WebBy default, yes. Veeam does automatically do a health check. For each job run, Veeam will automatically detect the metadata to determine if it matches. If it does not, it will flag the data. Also, Global Data Vault automatically runs a health check on our standard configuration every month, on the last Saturday of each month.
