WebThe Department of Health’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme looks to improve access to evidence-based talking therapies within the NHS and through other qualified healthcare providers, by continuous growth of the psychological therapy workforce and its services. Webcharacterised by its ‘low contact-high volume’ approach (Clark et al., 2009). PWPs receive one hour per week of IT-driven case management supervision using outcomes from IAPT minimum dataset to ensure high volume, and regular clinical supervision to ensure low contact (i.e., fidelity to low intensity methods).
